Welcome to Mustang Mafia. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Mustang Mafia mobile application (the "App") operated by Mustang Mafia ("we," "us," or "the Club"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.

1. Eligibility & Membership

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• Membership in Mustang Mafia is by approval. Creating an account or submitting a membership request does not guarantee acceptance.
• Admins and city leads may approve, deny, suspend, or revoke membership at their discretion, consistent with chapter rules.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.

2. Your Account

• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for anything that happens under it. Use a strong, unique password and keep your device locked.
• Do not share your account credentials with anyone else.
• Notify us immediately at support@mustangmafia.us if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

3. Conduct

The App is a community space. You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, or intimidate other members.
• Post content that is hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise unlawful.
• Post content that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy rights.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with Mustang Mafia or another chapter.
• Use the App to organize or promote illegal activity, including (but not limited to) street racing, reckless driving, or other unlawful conduct on public roads.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its servers, or other members' accounts.
• Upload malware, spam, phishing links, or commercial advertisements without admin permission.

We and chapter leads may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend or remove accounts for violating these rules.

4. Content You Post

• You retain ownership of the content you post (messages, photos, etc.).
• By posting content in the App, you grant Mustang Mafia a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute that content within the App for the purpose of operating the service.
• You are solely responsible for the content you post. Don't post anything you don't have the right to share.
• Do not upload photos of people who have not consented to being photographed or shared within the Club.

5. Events, Cruises & Meets

• Events, cruises, and meets listed in the App are organized by individual chapters and members — not by Mustang Mafia as a corporate entity.
• You participate at your own risk. You are responsible for your own safety, for obeying all traffic laws, and for the condition of your vehicle.
• Cruise Mode is provided to help members stay in touch during group drives. It is not a navigation or safety system. Do not rely on it for emergencies.
• Do not use the App while driving. Pull over before checking messages, RSVPs, or the map.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, its design, code, logo, and trademarks are owned by Mustang Mafia and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or create derivative works of the App without our written permission.

7. Termination

• You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time from within the App.
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the App, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, if your continued use poses a risk to other members, or if required by law.
• Sections that by their nature should survive termination (IP, disclaimers, limitation of liability, dispute resolution) will survive.

8. Disclaimers

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use of the App, participation in cruises, meets, and events, and reliance on any content in the App are at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mustang Mafia, its chapter leads, and its admins will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App, any event or cruise, or the conduct of other members. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the App will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (USD $100).

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mustang Mafia, its chapter leads, and its admins from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the App, your content, your participation in meets or cruises, or your violation of these Terms.

11. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Louisiana, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Continued use of the App after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
